Day 26 - Window Stickers DIY Tutorial
Today's post shows you how you we made some lovely Islamic window stickers. These were made by both my daughters, they each designed a mosque and stars as their main theme.
Requirements:
- PVA Glue (clear)
- Food Colourings or Paint
- Mixing Palette and brushes
- Optional: Plastic Templates
Instructions:
Step 1) Gather all your supplies
Step 2) Mix some PVA Glue with a couple drops/sprinkles of Food Colouring in the mixing palette
Step 3) Start painting your designs onto the clear plastic pocket (You can use the plastic templates if you have any!)
Step 4) Place a piece of card or paper inside the pocket so that it stops the plastic pocket from folding over!
Step 5) Allow them to dry for a few hours.
Step 6) Once dry, very carefully remove them from the plastic pockets and transfer onto the window.

Helpful Hints: Do not place them in to much heat - I dried some in the sunshine and they became brittle! Once dry you can try and trim them with sharp scissors to make them a bit neater!
Don't Forget that if you have made any of the
Ramadan Crafts that I have blogged about, then please send in a photograph and I
will publish this on my blog and my Facebook Page! You can send this via email
(karimascrafts@gmail.com) or
post on my Facebook Page Karimas-Crafts directly.
