There are many caps and hats in my household and thought I would like to change some of their styles somehow. Here is one of the caps which I decided to remove the peak and make the cap into a hat! Here are the instructions on how I did this.
Step 1: Unpick all the stitches that are keeping the peak in place, I used an unpicker. The peak should just fall off.
Step 2: Re-stitch the opening with either hand stitches (which is what I did) or with the sewing machine.
Step 3: There isn't a step 3 - just wear your new design! You can guarantee you will be the only one with that style of hat!
I have done this with a few different styles of cap and they have always been so easy to do following these 2 simple instructions!
