My 7 year old daughter went to a holiday club this week and they were making peg dolls at one of the craft tables. This was her creation, I think she did a brilliant job. These are easy to do and her big sister made one not long ago at one of her clubs too.
Requirements:
- Peg
- Pipe Cleaners
- Paper Cake cases
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pens
Instructions:
Step 1: Place one piece of pipe cleaner into the peg slot and then wrap around the body and make the arms.
Step 2: Make a slit in the centre of a few paper cases and slide these onto the peg to make a layered skirt.
Step 3: Get some pipe cleaners and make into a hair design of your choice and glue this to the top of the peg.
Step 4: Wrap another piece of pipe cleaner to make a scarf.
Step 5: With the pens you can draw a face on the top of the peg.
Below is a photo of a peg doll that my 12 year old posted on her blog last year. http://www.slhcrafts.com/2014/10/cake-cases-crafts-peg-doll.html
